Two Hearts One Soul
Exquisitely original guitar compositions instilled with the intense energy of the heart and the fiery passion of the soul…Javid is a New Flamenco ensemble comprised of husband and wife guitar virtuosos Javid and Naoko. Their latest album “Silk Road” signifies an impressive milestone for this prodigious guitar duo, and the eleven new songs contained herein are certain to enhance the collection of even the most demanding Flamenco aficionado.
Welcome to the exotic musical realm of Javid New Flamenco. Lead guitar Javid, Rhythm Guitar Naoko. Javid performs regularly throughout Southern California and is a favorite of the San Diego crowd. Javid was selected as the only Flamenco player who performed at Dave Koz’ Cruise on November, 2005. His music has also provided background on DVD soundtracks. Silk Road showcases Javid’s powerful energy and spirits the unique eleven, original compositions. Javid has performed at concerts throughout the United States, France, Germany and Japan.

Founded in 1990 by Guitarist/Songwriter Chris Broberg and Vibraphonist/Sho-biz Hustler Carlos X Pena. The Jazz Pigs have dedicated their sound to be against type and to deliver a high energy dynamic performance. Unlike most so-called jazz bands that lack passion and stage presence The Jazz Pigs perform “for” their audiences not “to” them.

After Chris’ departure in 1996, Carlos X has lead the band into a jazz fusion sound
that can draws it’s influences from everything from Coltrane to Zappa to Santana and Prog Rock. The Jazz Pigs wide open approach to standards has made them one of the most popular jam bands in Southern California and has Shaken Up audiences in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Eastern Western Europe and Australia.
